A cursed season
This year the Gustine baseball team was supposed to be at least O.K. being that we have been one of the top teams for the last 5 years at least. We started off the season with a whopping 22 players on the team. As the games flew by and as Bussard started figuring out how horrible we are, he started trying people in new positions and stuff and also started thinking of "next year." I think that we aren't going to be good next year either. People have been dropping like flies all year long; just yesterday Joey Rocha broke his hand for "uknown" reasons and today Dave Johnson and Nick Maffei both went after a ball in left-center and collided. Nick may have a concussion and Dave may have a broken leg. That would bring our team down to 14 players if that is so. Oh well, let the season play on and whatever happens, happens.
